Neil Young will be part of the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame class of 2017 -- the first induction for the shrine in six years.
The ceremony takes place September 23 at Massey Hall in Toronto and will also honor Bruce Cockburn, Beau Dommage and Stephane Venne. Randy Bachman, Young's longtime friend, and occasional collaborator will be among the performers that night.
