For a number of months, various members of Aerosmith have been hinting that their next big tour might be their last, but it looks like something will be preventing them from their victory lap.
Joe Perry spoke with AZ Central in the lead-up to the band’s set at the NCAA Final Four March Madness Music Festival in Phoenix this weekend, and he said The Bad Boys from Boston are talking about heading back into the studio.
“We definitely have another record in us, if not two. But we’ll see how that goes,” said Perry.
As the proposed tour, Perry says he doesn’t think it’ll be the band’s last, but if it is, it sounds like it’s going to be lengthy goodbye. Perry says he’d “like to play China and the Far East. There’s a lot of places that are off the beaten path.”
As with everything in the Aero-world, we’re sure someone will chime in in the near future with another thought or opinion. It’s good to see that 40+ years on, Aerosmith still isn’t boring.
