Guitar Greats: The Edge

U2's The Edge is one of the few guitarists that you could legitimately consider a scientist due to his incredible experimentation with assorted effects pedals throughout his career.

Seriously, think back to your favorite tracks from The Joshua TreeAchtung Baby, All That You Can't Leave Behind and everything in between.  The mood and tone The Edge sets spans across the entire emotional spectrum.

Plus, he wears a skull cap like no other.  We've all tried to rock a skull cap, and let's face it, it just didn't look right.
