Def Leppard News Round-Up: Tour Dates with Journey Announced, Catalog Now Streaming

There are two big items on the Def Leppard news docket this morning, but let’s unpack the big tour news first.

While it was one of the worst kept secrets as of late, Def Leppard and Journey have made it official with the unveiling of their 58-date tour hitting up arenas and some baseball stadiums.  (See full list of tour dates below.)

Per Def Leppard’s official website, tickets will be going on sale Saturday, February 3 with “further ticket info” (likely meaning pre-sale and VIP packages) available soon.

The other piece of big news (and it’s about time) is that Def Leppard’s ENTIRE catalog is now available for download and streaming on all the major services, including Apple Music/iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, Amazon Music and more.

In a statement, Joe Elliott said of the streaming news, “It is with a mixture of relief & euphoria that we now see our entire catalog finally getting a digital release. Having embraced every other format with open arms, especially & more recently the reemergence of vinyl, we’re now going to be available to everyone everywhere and honestly, it’s as exciting as the original releases were.”

Exciting, indeed!  Now, excuse me while I binge their entire catalog at will!
