There have been many profound things said about George Harrison and his guitar playing, but Traveling Willburys bandmate Tom Petty may have hit the nail on the head when it comes to Harrison.
In an excerpt from Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time, Petty said, "He was very in tune when he played, the slide was very precise, and just a beautiful vibrato on it. It really sounded like a voice, like a very distinct, signature voice that came out of him. Just listen to those records. They're so immaculate, so inventive. He was a guy who could just add so much."
